Anne Hathaway Edition:Bits & Pieces

Anne Hathaway Edition: Bits & Pieces – Set against the 2008 financial crisis, OMAHA follows a struggling father on a road trip across the American West with his two children, Ella and Charlie. What begins as a seemingly spontaneous journey gradually reveals deeper emotional stakes, exploring parenthood, love, and the quiet desperation of protecting your children when you’re unsure you can.

500 MILES is a poetic, life-affirming road movie and celebration of the human spirit that follows a broken family who are forced to come together when two young brothers run away from home.  While their fighting parents (Clare Dunne & Michael Socha) tear their hair out with worry, runaways Finn (Roman Griffin Davis) and his live-wire younger brother Charlie (Dexter Sol Ansell) embark on an epic adventure from Yorkshire, over land and sea, to the Wild West coast of Ireland. With the free-spirited busker Cáit (Maisie Williams) helping the young boys along the way, their destination is Dingle, County Kerry, and their estranged, beloved Grandfather (BAFTA-award winner Bill Nighy), who their parents haven’t spoken to since the fateful events of the previous summer.

Wild Foxes is a French language coming of age drama directed and written by Valéry Carnoy and starring Samuel Kircher, Fayçal Anaflous, Jef Jacobs and Anna Heckel. It won the Europe Cinema Label for best European Film as well as the SACD Coup de Coeur’s Award at the Cannes Film Festival Directors’ Fortnight 2025. The SACD Coup de Coeur’s Award recognises the best French-language feature and highlights impactful, emerging filmmaking.

Astronaut Eileen Collins was the first woman to pilot and command an American spacecraft. Born on the other side of the tracks in upstate New York, she smashed many glass ceilings in the US Air Force and at NASA in her career, culminating in four increasingly dramatic and dangerous space shuttle missions. With an incredible set of archival materials, intimate interviews, and a moving score by Marcelo Zarvos, Hannah Berryman’s nail-biting film shares the emotional journey experienced by Eileen’s family, and explores what level of risk is acceptable in human endeavour.

In this new film, Jack Ryan is reluctantly thrust back into the world of espionage when an international covert mission unravels a deadly conspiracy, forcing him to confront a rogue black-ops unit, and the clock is ticking. Operating in real time with lives on the line and the threat escalating at every turn, Jack reunites with battle-tested CIA operative Mike November (Michael Kelly) and former CIA boss James Greer (Wendell Pierce), their combined experience the only edge they have against an enemy who knows their every move. Backed by an unlikely new partner – razor-sharp MI6 officer Emma Marlowe (Sienna Miller) – Jack and the team navigate a treacherous web of betrayal, facing a past they thought was long put to rest – making this the most personal, high-stakes mission any of them have ever faced.
