Disney’s Jungle Cruise: Trailer Talk

Disney’s Jungle Cruise: Trailer Talk

Trailer Talk: Disney’s Jungle Cruise. By Megan Williams.

After the success of the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ franchise, I’m surprised there hasn’t been more adaptations based on Disneyland rides and attractions. However, I’m not sure this was the next best one to choose.

‘Jungle Cruise’ stars Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, who play architects in search of a flower that can grant a human healing powers.

This is a storyline I have seen in actions films a thousand times, and this doesn’t look any different from any of the other films that it’s inspired by. Dwayne Johnson has quickly become one of my favourite actors; he always looks like he’s having fun in any role he takes.

Plus, Emily Blunt is a fantastic actress, and they look like they’re have great on-screen chemistry. However, this isn’t enough to convince me to see it. If you have young kids, this might be more suited towards them. As for me, this looks quite dull.

Disney’s Jungle Cruise will be in cinemas in 24th July 2020.

Jungle Cruise is an upcoming American adventure film based on the Disney theme park attraction of the same name. Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, the film will star Dwayne JohnsonEmily BluntÉdgar RamírezJack Whitehall, with Jesse Plemons and Paul Giamatti, and is set for release on July 24, 2020, by Walt Disney Pictures.

Jungle Cruise is set to be released by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures on July 24, 2020. The film was originally scheduled to be released on October 11, 2019, but on October 19, 2018, Johnson announced on behalf of Disney that the film had been delayed to 2020.

Megan’s taste in films are interesting: her favourite films are ‘Space Jam’, Studio Ghibli’s ‘The Cat Returns’, as well as horror films ‘Saw’, ‘Drag Me To Hell’ and ‘Ju-On: The Grudge’. When she’s not watching films, she’ll be spending precious hours playing ‘Crash Bandicoot’.
