Back to put the XXX into Xmas… Billy Bob Thornton is Willie Soke, the baddest Santa there ever was!  BAD SANTA 2 is out to download and on DVD/Blu-ray from Monday 6thNovember.

Stephen King’s latest movie It has topped $500 Million at the Worldwide Box Office and has officially become the top grossing horror film of all time. With over 50 Stephen King novels having been adapted into films and collectively raking in over $2 Billion, Stephen King is big money in Hollywood. Classics such as the time-honoured The ShiningStand By Me and not to mention the Academy Award Nominated The Green Mile make up some of Stephen King’s greatest accolades. But not all of the adaptions have had quite the same success, and the time old Hollywood problem of a movie gaining high audience ratings but not necessarily translating into box office success, reigns true for Stephen King alike. Everyone loves The Shawshank Redemption, right? The movie, often listed within the greatest films of all time has critic audience ratings which push an incredible 90% but raked in just over $50 million at the box office, showing that popularity doesn’t always pay.

Financial broker Moneypod have created this infographic to show the hits and the misses of Stephen King Film’s. Where does your favourite rank, was it a box office (h)It or a miss?

Featuring The Lord of the Rings and Indiana Jones star John Rhys-Davis, Aux is a gruesome action horror by Evolutionary Films.

In the wake of the sexual revolution and the rise of the women’s movement, the 1973 tennis match between women’s World #1 Billie Jean King (Emma Stone) and ex-men’s-champ and serial hustler Bobby Riggs (Steve Carell) was billed as the BATTLE OF THE SEXES and became one of the most watched televised sports events of all time, reaching 90 million viewers around the world.  As the rivalry between King and Riggs kicked into high gear, off-court each was fighting more personal and complex battles.  The fiercely private King was not only championing for equality but also struggling to come to terms with her own sexuality, as her friendship with Marilyn Barnett (Andrea Riseborough) developed.  And Riggs, one of the first self-made media-age celebrities, wrestled with his gambling demons, at the expense of his family and wife Priscilla (Elisabeth Shue).  Together, Billie and Bobby served up a cultural spectacle that resonated far beyond the tennis court, sparking discussions in bedrooms and boardrooms that continue to reverberate today.

Based on the true story from the New York Times best seller, Jake Gyllenhaal stars as the working-class Boston man whose iconic photo from the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing captured the hearts of the world. Stronger is the deeply personal account of the heroic journey that came after that photo – defining a man’s inner courage, a community’s pride, a family’s bond and an unexpectedly tenacious love.

What starts out as a lavish train ride through Europe quickly unfolds into one of the most stylish, suspenseful and thrilling mysteries ever told.  From the novel by best-selling author Agatha Christie, “Murder on the Orient Express” tells the tale of thirteen strangers stranded on a train, where everyone’s a suspect. One man must race against time to solve the puzzle before the murderer strikes again. Kenneth Branagh directs and leads an all-star cast including Penelope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley and Josh Gad.

Absinthe plays homage to the beautiful black and white old Hollywood stories and shares actual quotes from legends including James Brown, Janis Joplin, Frida Khalo and Marilyn Monroe. This avant-garde film stars two of France’s most beloved actresses Oscar-nominee Marie-Christine Barrault and Cesar-nominee Brigitte Fossey, as well as American actor Larry Cech. The film was directed by Michelle Figlarz and produced by Larry Cech, Raul Torres and Monica Cooper.
