The shortlist for the Jameson Empire Awards were revealed.

The Jameson Best Actor Award is particularly strong, with Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained), Daniel Craig (Skyfall), Daniel Day-Lewis (Lincoln), Martin Freeman (The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey) and Robert Downey Jr. (Marvel Avengers Assemble).
