Anocha Suwichakornpong’s award-winning 2009 Thai film Mundane History is out on DVD on October 22nd.

Thai director Anocha Suwichakornpong’s ethereal first film has been widely praised one of the most startling and original feature debuts of recent years. This seemingly ordinary, astutely structured family drama is a film with cosmic aspirations. A film as beautiful, strange and as mysterious as life itself.

The DVD is presented in a new HD transfer, approved by director and also features Anocha Suwichakornpong’s 2006 short film Graceland, a new and exclusive interview with the director and a new booklet essay by journalist and critic Carmen Gray.
