VICE will be premiering two new films, looking at two very different cultures at Raindance Film Festival 2012 in London.

Caribbean Fashion Week

VICE’s ground-breaking fashion documentary series, ‘Fashion Week Internationale‘, visits Kingston, Jamaica as presenter, Charlet Duboc discovers Caribbean couture, skin bleaching, dancehall’s impact on global fashion and why girls are swallowing agricultural chicken feed for cosmetic purposes.  Director: William Fairman

The British Wrestler

Cider. Community Halls. Boots to your balls. VICE looks at the UK’s underground wrestling scene, from the community centres of Plymouth to the streets of Glasgow. A far cry from the now faded memories of terrestrial TV’s World Of Sport and even further from the glitz and glamour of the stateside WWE, Brits across the country have been escaping the banality of their everyday lives by moonlighting as pro-wrestlers in the largely untelevised and often underpopulated wrestling scene of 2012.  Director: Rhys James

About the Author

Sledge loves film. And girls. And girls who love film. He started this here blog a few years back when he was "in between jobs". That's not the case now! Happy days. It started out as a bit of fun, but has grown into what you see today, and he can only apologise. Some of the films he loves are Rear Window, Superman 2, The Man With The Two Brains, Clockwise, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Trading Places, Stir Crazy and Punch-Drunk Love.
