Ninja Warrior Edition: Bits & Pieces – Writer/Director Nika Fehmiu’s live-action short is a story about the American inability to connect. The film finds new profound relevance in the Covid era and time of self-isolation, as it touches on all the ways that we are disconnected in society and how we detrimentally prioritize ourselves above all else. It is a film that makes us re-examine ourselves in the most crucial of times. Look at Me will receive its world premiere at the Oscar-qualifying Tribeca Film Festival, which will now be shown online due to the Coronavirus outbreak. 

THE HOST is a Zachary Weckstein Production and stars Emmy Award-winning Maryam Hassouni, up-and-coming Mike Beckingham (brother of Simon Pegg), first major role from McFly pop rock musician Dougie PoynterNigel Barber (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Spectre (007), Togo Igawa (Star Wars: The Last Jedi / Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, The Last Samurai), veteran actors Derek Jacobi (Gladiator, Murder on the Orient Express, Gosford Park, I, Claudius (TV series) and Jeroen Krabbé (The Fugitive, The Living Daylights, Transporter 3), Dominic Keating (Star Trek: Enterprise, Beowulf, Prison Break), Margo Stilley (The Trip, How to Lose Friends & Alienate People, 9 Songs) and Ruby Turner MBE (Love Actually, Hotel Babylon and acclaimed singer). 

Yoav, a successful architect, has everything he’s ever wanted: Dan, his lover of 15 years – a younger lawyer who adores him, and his best friend, Alma – a successful artist, who is like a mother and a sister to him. However, when Alma announces she’s pregnant, it ignites Dan’s desire to become a father himself. But Dan’s parental urges have the opposite effect on Yoav who is haunted by long buried demons. Yoav’s tight grasp on his life begins to come apart, leading him to self-destructive behavior that threatens to destroy his life with Dan, unravel his friendship with Alma, and cost him everything.



Ninja Warrior Edition: Bits & Pieces – Set in the small fictitious town of Tambury, the comedy-drama series follows Tony (Ricky Gervais), a writer for the local newspaper whose life is upended after his wife dies from cancer. In series 2, whilst still struggling with immense grief for his wife, we see Tony try to become a better friend to those around him. Each grappling with their own problems and only to be intensified by the looming threat of the local newspaper being shut down.

Long Lost stars Adam Weppler (The Cobblestone Corridor) as Seth, a young man invited to spend a long weekend at a Connecticut mansion with his long lost millionaire half-brother Richard (Nicholas Tucci, You’re Next) who, along with his enigmatic live-in girlfriend Abby (Catherine Corcoran, Terrifier), lead Seth down a psychosexual rabbit hole wherein luxury and temptation are intermingled with treachery and taboo.

Following the release of the documentary series everyone is talking about, TIGER KING: Murder, Mayhem and Madness, Netflix brings you THE TIGER KING AND I, a special after-show hosted by Tiger King superfan JOEL MCHALE. Joel interviews many of the main subjects from the series about their reactions to the show, as they bring fans deeper into the bizarre and amazing world of Tiger King. The colourful cast of characters will have a chance to tell their story directly, giving us inside info, opinions, and insight into the controversial, captivating series that has become a global sensation.

Ninja Warrior Edition: Bits & Pieces – Eureka Entertainment to release KWAIDAN, Masaki Kobayashi’s ambitious anthology of Japanese ghost tales, on Blu-ray for the first time in the UK, presented from a 2K digital restoration. Available from 27 April 2020 as part of The Masters of Cinema Series in a Limited Edition Set of only 3000 copies, featuring a Hardbound Case and 100-page Collector’s Book.

Michael Pinkney is a dog groomer living in a rat-infested Hollywood dive with dreams of a bigger creative life.  His current ambition is to raise funding for an all-cat remake of Carrie.  At home he makes what he refers to as “weird video art that nobody wants to watch”.  One day on the job, he meets Cora the girl of his dreams.  “When you’re cutting their nails, is it supposed to bleed that much?”, she asks, as he stares at her lovingly.  Easily distracted, creatively in knots and now in some sort of love, Michael’s about to embark on a whole new dangerous trip.

In the anarchic town of Seaside, nowhere near the sea, puppeteers Judy and Punch are trying to resurrect their marionette show. The show is a hit due to Judy’s superior puppeteering, but Punch’s driving ambition and penchant for whisky lead to an inevitable tragedy that Judy must avenge.
