Dark Star Pictures will premiere the Spanish Civil War whimsical comedy The Bastards Fig Tree in theaters this May. The theatrical season kicks off with a Los Angeles run on May 10, with the title to expand to other markets in the weeks following. Holding its World Premiere at Fantastic Fest this fall, Ana Murugarren’s psycho genre-meshing masterpiece provides a fresh, magical exploration of the horrors of the Spanish Civil War, showing both the brutality of war and its ability to inspire hope and change in a broken society. Karra Elejalde stars.

“Bunkheads”, a new psycho comedy-horror series described as Shaun of the Dead meets Zombieland, is taking North America by storm! Since its debut on Amazon Prime, the popularity of the “hilarious, wholly original spin on a zombie tale” has grown substantially, with the indie success story’s fanbase hankering for more! Created by Will Gong, directed by Lauren Klixbull, and produced by Gabriel Reiter, the self-distributed short form series stars Josh Covitt (The Mindy Project), Carly Turro (Homeland), Khalif Boyd (Criminal Minds), and Chris O’Brien (Rosewood) as roomates bunking down together during a psycho zombie apocalypse.

ITV have announced that star of the Six Million Dollar man Lee Majors will take on the role of Jeff Tracy, the father of the five Tracy brothers and founder of International Rescue. Although Jeff Tracy was a central character in the original Thunderbirds series from the 1960s, he has not yet appeared in the next-generation revival Thunderbirds Are Go, and has been missing – presumed dead – since the series began. Never seen before by audiences but often discussed amongst his sons, this first footage of Jeff Tracy is not to be missed!
