After directing and creating five short films between the years 2011-2018, Ari Aster finally got a full feature movie to direct ‘Hereditary‘ which he also wrote. The film received very well by critics on its release and grossed $79.4 million worldwide which is the highest grossing movie for A24 Production Company. Unlike other horror movies, Aster took the David Lynch way by leaving audiences into their own understanding.

Aster’s Hereditary is more of an emotional horror film where some viewers find themselves in a very uncomfortable zone as it has some serious distressful scenes and the screaming of Annie played by Toni Collette. The film also faced criticism by some audiences because of the end credits and confusion which led to many forum discussions.
