Are We There Yet? (2005)

Ice Cube shows us his softer side in this family friendly comedy. He plays the character of Nick Persons, a sports collectables dealer; who falls in love with executive Suzanne Kingston (Nia Long). Suzanne is a divorced, mother of two children: Lindsey and Kevin Kingston. Even though Nick isn’t much of a family man, he is eager to make a good impression and perhaps have a chance with Suzanne. The children are supposed to travel as Suzanne’s work commitments threatened to have her stuck in Vancouver on New Year’s Eve. But after travel arrangements fail to go to plan, Nick is forced to drive the kids to Canada. Lindsey and Kevin use this as an opportunity to test Nick and attempt to sabotage his efforts to stay in Suzanne’s good books.
