Barbershop (2002)

The Barbershop series has always been known for comedic and celebrity appearances, but still remained genuine to an actual barbershop experience. The plot follows a business owner named Calvin Palmer who inherited his father’s barbershop and tries to uphold a safe environment for Chicago residents to call home. The film is filled with laughter and the stories about a day in the life of a barbershop.  Ice Cube’s character progresses as the series develops; eventually having a son and becoming a motivated Barbershop owner, trying to better his community.
