A Superhero Film

Pretty chuffed to be one of the first to show you the new video for Save the Children,  shot by the multi-award winning production team of Don’t Panic and UNIT9.

The 2-minute video ‘Superheroes’ casts a refreshing and positive light on valuable work being done in some of the worlds poorest countries. These are not actors but real children – children who are supported by Save the Children’s international work and filmed in their real life settings.

17,000 children under-five are still dying every day from easily preventable causes such as malaria and diarrhoea in poverty stricken countries worldwide, largely due to poor access to medicines and health workers.

Travelling the globe, from Mexico to Kenya to India, our crew documented the moving stories of children who claim to have been saved by mythical ‘masked figures’ – real health workers that many children regard as superheroes.

The video release coincides with Save the Children International’s global campaign event, Race for Survival, as well as the UN International Day for the Eradication of Poverty on Friday.
