Apocalyptic events and wedding vows collide in supernatural thriller The Remaining, which debuts in UK cinemas on Friday November 7th.

Based on biblical accounts of the end of the world, The Remaining explores faith and redemption during apocalyptic chaos, with horrific circumstances.

Written and directed by Casey La Scala (Donnie Darko), The Remaining features an incredible up and coming cast of fresh, young talent including, Johnny Pacar (Wild Child, Playback), Alex Penavega (Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Spykids), Shaun Sipos (Texas Chainsaw 3D, The Vampire Diaries) and Italia Ricci (Don John).

A group of close-knit friends come together to celebrate the marriage of Skylar (Vega) and Dan (Dechart), when tragedy strikes. The wedding party is besieged by a series of catastrophic events which turn the celebration into a life-and-death struggle. The young group desperately scramble for refuge and self-preservation while an enemy they never knew existed unleashes its wrath against those remaining alive. They must understand what is happening around them and find a way to survive together in a new world of death and destruction.
