Exclusive clips from the new teen reality movie Drunken Butterflies will be released every day this week on drunkenbutterflies.com and via the Drunken Butterflies YouTube channel, in advance of the film’s launch on VOD this coming Tuesday September 30th.
Today’s clip sees shy girl Isla and straight edge Nicky discussing all of today’s most pressing issues – that time Isla met Cheryl Cole (for real?), whether Spongebob’s Mr. Krabs is a murderous cannibal who farms his own species to stock the freezers of the Krusty Krab, and whether or not Rugrats is a tragic story of the ghosts of babies that might have been, taking place entirely in Angelica’s mind.
Over the coming week there’ll be fights, romance, worry and magic, with an extra long bonus clip to follow on Monday 29th, and the full feature film released on VOD via drunkenbutterfliesfilm.com on Tuesday September 30th.
The micro-budget film, which looks at teenage girl-life through a collage of fiction, documentary and scripted reality TV and YouTube-style footage, will be available to stream as a rental and to download to keep. The download bundle comes with exclusive content including a 30 minute ‘making of’ documentary, a special mix of the score and soundtrack, a 52 page e-zine of photographs and artwork from the film and more.
The soundtrack mix, featuring music by Shape Worship, Moon Gangs, Zyna Hel, Internet Forever and more, will be available to purchase separately on Friday September 26th.
