Parade has a quote from some producer saying both Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones want number 3.
“ The challenge is getting the script right and finding a time when our busy stars are available,”
“But everyone, including Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, wants to do another.”
Will has moved on I think while Tommy Lee would jump at it I’d imagine.

I actually whole-heartedly welcome the idea of MiB3. The first MiB was and is great, a nice left-field effects movie, that used its budget intelliently and had a really sharp script. The sequel was a mess, very ‘Ghostbuster 2’ but not even as good as that, though it did make me cry, but that’s another story… ahem…
So, in summary, I think MiB3 could work, they had their ego-maniacal moment and then they got humbled by ropey reviews and the ever-dwindling career of Barry Sonnenfeld, a director who I think can still do good, but it’s been a while since the glory days of The Addams Family and Get Shorty.
Plus it’s better news than hearing they’re going to be making ‘Hancock 2’.

Hancock’s second shouldn’t have been made.
I’d rather want to watch Men In Tights 2 than a sequel of either of these Will Smith films.
