It has been 12 years since James Cameron, director of films such as Terminator 1 and 2, The Abyss and Aliens last directed a film. That last film of course went on to become the highest grossing film of all time, Titanic. In November this year Cameron will be returning to science fiction with Avatar – a film which some are claiming will revolutionise film making due to it’s photo-realistic special effects and mind blowing 3D technology. However unless you were lucky enough to attend a screening of footage at San Diego’s Comic Con this year it is unlikely you will have seen anything of Avatar other than a few still shots. Today that will all change, Twentieth Century Fox finally reveals the first teaser trailer to the film and Apple Trailers has an official countdown showing that the trailer will premiere at 15:00 GMT, be sure to check it out.
