Werewolves: Trailer Talk

Werewolves: Trailer Talk

What would happen if ‘The Purge’ and 2009’s ‘Daybreakers’ was put into a blender, but replaced the vampires with werewolves? Well, you’d get the upcoming action-horror film ‘Werewolves’!

‘Werewolves’ sees a group of humans try to survive the night of a full moon after most of the world’s population have received the werewolf curse by a supermoon the year before.

While vampires, zombies and other monsters have their fair share of horror films, werewolf films are few and far between, so it’s great to see a new one being released at the end of the year. And it has a really unique and cool premise. Plus, the designs of the werewolves themselves look great, and reminiscent of the ones in 2004’s ‘Van Helsing’, which also featured a fantastic design. I’m intrigued to know how the transformation scenes will be executed, as well as the logistics of a world where the majority of people are now werewolves.

‘Werewolves’ looks really fun and unique. With this being an action-horror, it has the opportunity to contain some creepy scenes as well as some enjoyable action sequences. Hopefully the film includes aspects of world-building as that would be interesting to see. Werewolf films don’t come around often, but I’m glad that this one is fast approaching.

Megan’s taste in films are interesting: her favourite films are ‘Space Jam’, Studio Ghibli’s ‘The Cat Returns’, as well as horror films ‘Saw’, ‘Drag Me To Hell’ and ‘Ju-On: The Grudge’. When she’s not watching films, she’ll be spending precious hours playing ‘Crash Bandicoot’.
