In order to solve the brutal murder of a young, German surfer, two police officers are secretly deployed to the tourist paradise of Hvide Sande on the Jutlandic west coast. No one in the town trusts the police, so they must come across as a happily married couple from the big city moving to the North Sea coast to start a new life. The two police officers are Dane Helene, an expert in undercover work, and Danish-German Thomas, a homicide detective from Hamburg. They quickly come to realize that being credible in the roles of husband and wife isn’t easy when you’re used to being alone. But as they get closer to the small town’s residents and circumstances, hidden connections and old wounds, they also get closer to each other and feel their own emotions awakening.

A gripping thriller based on true events, THE GOOD NURSE is directed by Academy Award nominee Tobias Lindholm, written by Academy Award nominee Krysty Wilson-Cairns, and stars Academy Award winners Jessica Chastain as Amy Loughren and Eddie Redmayne as Charles Cullen, as well as Nnamdi Asomugha, Noah Emmerich, and Kim Dickens.

Veteran bounty hunter Max Borlund is deep into Mexico where he encounters professional gambler and outlaw Joe Cribbens – a sworn enemy he sent to prison years before. Max is on a mission to find and return Rachel Kidd, the wife of a wealthy businessman, who as the story is told to Max, has been abducted by Buffalo Soldier Elijah Jones. Max is ultimately faced with a showdown to save honor.

Captain Marvel Edition: Bits & Pieces – From the delightfully wicked minds of Henry Selick and producer Jordan Peele comes Wendell & Wild, an animated tale about scheming demon brothers Wendell (Keegan-Michael Key) and Wild (Peele), who enlist the aid of Kat Elliot a tough teen with a load of guilt to summon them to the Land of the Living. But what Kat demands in return leads to a brilliantly bizarre and comedic adventure like no other, an animated fantasy that defies the law of life and death, all told through the handmade artistry of stop motion.

MUBI, the theatrical distributor and global curated film streaming service has unveiled the official new poster and trailer for Martine Syms’ witty drama The African Desperate which will release exclusively on MUBI later this Autumn.

A Bird Flew In has garnered critical acclaim following festival screenings at the Paris International Film Festival, the Toronto Women Film Festival and London’s Raindance Film Festival where it was nominated for Best UK Feature. The film also picked up prizes for Best Female Director and Best Cinematography at the Vancouver Independent Film Festival and an honourable mention at the Santa Monica Film Festival.
