Moon Knight: Trailer Talk

Moon Knight: Trailer Talk.

In November, one of my Trailer Talk articles covered Disney+ Day, a day where future projects for the streaming platform were announced. Included in this was a teaser trailer for ‘Moon Knight’ starring Oscar Isaac as the lead character. At the time, I thought it looked unique, but a full-length trailer was needed to fully understand the new property and form a solid opinion on the series, especially since this was an unfamiliar character. But now that the first trailer is out, Marvel fans can finally get more information on the Disney+ series.

And ‘Moon Knight’ looks incredible and definitely embraces its chaos! The visuals look impressive but manic. And, because the lead character has issues with recognizing reality from fiction, I hope this series contains a lot of confusing sequences that will enthesis this. Furthermore, the backing track chosen (‘Day ‘N’ Night’ by Kid Cudi) was perfect for the trailer.

Oscar Isaac is a great casting choice for this property. Not only is he a fantastic actor, but it’s great to see him working with another iconic company and introduce a unique character. The trailer also reveals Moon Knight’s costume, which looks terrifying. With the release of ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ and ‘Moon Knight’, it looks like Marvel is starting to venture more into the horror genre, something that I welcome.

Despite not knowing the property, ‘Moon Knight’ looks chaotic and incredible. Oscar Isaac was the perfect casting choice for the role, and the lead character’s costume looks amazing and terrifying. Plus, fans won’t have long left to wait: ‘Moon Knight’ will come to Disney+ in March!
