PAW Patrol Holds On

PAW Patrol: The Movie holds on at Number 1 on the UK’s Official Film Chart.

The adorable heroes keep their space atop the Official Film Chart for a second week, with the film finishing 20,000 sales ahead of its closest competition, The Suicide Squad, which rises one place.

Fast & Furious 9 speeds up one to Number 3, while Black Widow jumps six places to Number 4, and Jungle Cruise anchors at Number 5.

This week’s biggest climber is The Courier – zooming 30 places to Number 6. Based on a true story, Benedict Cumberbatch stars as the unassuming Greville Wynne, who is recruited into the Cold War by the British and US secret services to act as their liaison and work with a Soviet officer to put an end to the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Space Jam: A New Legacy (7) and The Croods: A New Age (8) both fall this week, landing just ahead of our highest new entry, Snake Eyes: GI Joe Origins (9), which makes its debut on digital downloads only. The film is a spin-off of the G.I. Joe series centered around the character of Snake eyes, played by Henry Golding.

Finally, Free Guy rounds off this week’s countdown at Number 10.
