How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World Soars

How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World flies up two places to take Number 1 on this week’s Official Film Chart, landing at the top on digital downloads alone.  The final instalment of the incredibly popular franchise sees Hiccup and Toothless seek out a secret dragon utopia, before a hired tyrant called Grimmel beats them to it.

Bumblebee hangs on firmly to Number 2, while Bohemian Rhapsody climbs back up two places to Number 3.  Last week’s Number 1 Glass tumbles three places to Number 4; The Secret Life Of Pets is up to Number 5 as its sequel screens in cinemas; Mary Poppins Returns lands at Number 6.

Mary Queen Of Scots falls three places to Number 7, ahead of Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse which rises one to 8.

This week’s highest climber is Green Book, zooming 11 places up the chart to land in the Top 10 for the first time (9).  In the Oscar-winning film, Tony Lip (Viggo Mortensen), an Italian-American bouncer, is hired to drive world-class Black pianist Dr Don Shirley (Mahershala Ali) on a concert tour from Manhattan to the Deep South, and must rely on “The Green Book” to guide them to the few venues that were safe for African-Americans at the time.

Rounding out this week’s Top 10 is Jason Momoa as superhero Aquaman, which jumps one place to Number 10.

This week’s Official Film Chart online show features an exclusive behind-the-scenes clip of Sir Patrick Stewart talking about The Kid Who Would Be King, which is available to download & keep from June 10.
