Today, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts revealed the trailer for this year’s EE British Academy Film Awards – ‘Believe You Will’.

The trailer, created in partnership with agency Gramafilm, features a range of British film industry luminaries recounting their early memories of starting out in the industry, showing the journey from their early careers through to industry recognition.

With the rousing tagline, ‘Believe You Will’ , BAFTA hopes the voices of Daniel Kaluuya, Eddie Redmayne, Kate Winslet, Naomie Harris, Sally Potter and Will Poulter will inspire audiences across the country to embark on their own journeys.

The honest re-telling of their rise to fame aims to evoke personal memories of passions, failures, struggles, and triumphs for cinema audiences across the country, to believe they will.

The film hopes to embody all of the characteristics of a true success story, the highs and the lows that follow this story, and everything that builds to the moment of industry recognition and winning a BAFTA.

Algor Lieman, Co-founder & Director at Gramafilm, commented:  ‘In line with BAFTAs strategy, we wanted to create a campaign that, through the voices of some of today’s most accomplished British film talent, shares the universal feelings and emotions involved in achieving ones dreams.’

The EE British Academy Film Awards will take place on Sunday 10th February at The Royal Albert Hall, and will TX on the same day on BBC One and BBC One HD.
