Film fans can now have a look at the trailer for the British supernatural drama Retribution, starring Calum Best, Amar Adatia, Funda Onal, Alex Reid, and Luke White (Love Island) The film, following the relationship between a troubled young woman and a fallen angel, was written and directed by Christine Edwards and will be released in September.
In order to save their brother Michael’s life, the Dillon sisters, Leah and Vee have organized a bank robbery, but when the upstairs vault doesn’t have enough money to cover Michael’s debt, on the advice of Assistant Bank Manager Ed Maas, they drill into the downstairs vault. But the bank’s basement hides a terrible secret and before long, the Dillons have to choose whether to face the police outside or the terrible supernatural forces in the vault below.
Winner of at least nine major film awards including Best Feature Films at the Los Angeles Movie Awards and Best Sci-Fi Feature at the New York Science Fiction Film Festival, Beyond the Trek is “Visually stunning and thematically engrossing…” (Indie Horror) and is “Reminiscent of an episode of Star Trek or 2001: A Space Odyssey…you feel completely immersed in this futuristic world” (Tai Freligh, Flickering Myth).

Inspired by the ambition and imagination of P.T. Barnum, “The Greatest Showman” tells the story of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a mesmerizing spectacle that became a worldwide sensation. “The Greatest Showman” is directed by exciting new filmmaker, Michael Gracey, with songs by Academy Award winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (“La La Land”) and starring Academy Award nominee Hugh Jackman. Jackman is joined by Academy Award nominee Michelle Williams, Zendaya, Zac Efron and Rebecca Ferguson.
Following premieres at the International Film Festival in Rotterdam and South by Southwest Festival in the US, DAPHNE received its UK premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival earlier this year, screening in the Best of British category. Emily Beecham was awarded Best Performance in a British Film while at the festival. The film will then be released nationwide on 29 September through Altitude.
