SIX ROUNDS is a piece that deals with race, social economical issues and acceptance in the modern worlds set against the backdrops of the London riots in 2011. Budgeted at just £7000, like it’s subject matter, it has defied the odds amassing wonderful reviews and distribution. The lead actor, Adam J Bernard, won an Best Supporting Actor Olivier Award at the Royal Albert Hall last month.

When Jonah, recently fired from his newspaper job, goes mysteriously missing, his young wife Maggie has to weigh the hopes of his return against impending financial breakdown. The anxiety of the following days threatens to tip her over the edge, yet she hopes any moment could provide the answer to the puzzle of what happened to her husband.

The fifth season of the critically acclaimed Emmy® nominated drama House of Cards premieres Tuesday, May 30, 2017. The series’ Golden Globe® winning stars Kevin Spacey (as Francis Underwood) and Robin Wright (as Claire Underwood), whose characters have always been each other’s strongest allies, show cracks in their relationship.

The Escape marks Paul Franklin’s directorial debut after winning numerous awards, including two Academy Awards and two BAFTAs for his work as a Visual Effects Supervisor on Christopher Nolan’s Inception and Interstellar. His other impressive VFX projects include The Dark KnightCaptain America: Civil War, and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

When the Chinese Communist Party alters its promise of autonomy to Hong Kong – handed back to the Chinese government from British rule in 1997 – teenager Joshua Wong decides to fight for his homeland.  Rallying thousands of kids to skip school and occupy the streets, and without a long-term plan but with passion to spare, Joshua becomes an unlikely leader in Hong Kong. A remarkable portrait of courage, resilience, and the propulsive power of youthful idealism, JOSHUA : TEENAGER VS. SUPERPOWER, the winner of this year’s Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival, is a chronicle of one young man risking his own future for a greater good.

As “Fear the Walking Dead” returns for season three, our families will be brought together in the vibrant and violent region formerly known as the U.S.-Mexico border.  International lines done away with following the world’s end, our characters must attempt to rebuild not only society, but family as well. Madison has reconnected with Travis, her apocalyptic partner, but Alicia has been fractured by her murder of Andres. Madison’s son is only a few miles from his mother, but Nick’s first action as a leader saw him and Luciana ambushed by an American militia group — the couple escaped death, Luciana was shot, and Nick no longer feels immortal. Recovering both emotionally and physically, Strand has his sights set on harnessing the new world’s currency, and Ofelia’s captivity will test her ability to survive and see if she can muster the savagery of her father.

When the child Arthur’s father is murdered, Vortigern (Jude Law), Arthur’s uncle, seizes the crown.  Robbed of his birthright and with no idea who he truly is, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city.  But once he pulls the sword from the stone, his life is turned upside down and he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy…whether he likes it or not.

From renowned creative geniuses Lana Wachowski, Grant Hill (The Matrix, Cloud Atlas) and J. Michael Straczynski (Clint Eastwood’s Changeling, World War Z), Sense8 is centered around eight characters, from different parts of the world, who experience a violent vision, and soon find themselves mentally connected by the experience.  They become connected, able to see and talk to each other as though they were in the same place, with access to each other’s deepest secrets. Not only must the eight adapt to this new ability and to each other, they must figure out why their lives are now in jeopardy. In Season 2, dark forces continue to track the cluster of eight connected characters. The sensates will learn more about BPO, the secret organization searching for their cluster and others like them, and will work to protect themselves from this organization that is out to hunt and kill them.

That’s your lot for now, more soon enough.
