To celebrate the release of Inherent Vice, in cinemas now, Warner Bros. Pictures UK has partnered with Soho House’s Pizza East, to create the Inherent Vice pizza. The limited edition pizza will be available across all Pizza East restaurants, in Shoreditch, Kentish Town and on Portobello Road from today until the end of February.

Pizza East Kentish Town Head Chef, Lliam Boyle, created three themed Inherent Vice pizzas. Taking inspiration from a scene in the Paul Thomas Anderson film reminiscent of Da Vinci’s The Last Supper mural, whereby the principal characters are seen enjoying pizza. Fans of the restaurant were then given the opportunity to choose which one they wanted to see on the menu by voting for their favourite via Twitter.

The winner was the ‘Golden Fang’, named after a mysterious organisation, a smoking combination of pulled pork, crackling, roasted yellow peppers and spring onions with a splash of pomegranate vinegar.

The two other mouth-watering flavours that were up for nomination included:

  • Doc, named after private eye Doc Sportello – Beef meatballs and smoked mozzarella with dried Sicilian oregano buds
  • Vice – Chopped kale and gorgonzola cheese with pancetta, pine nuts and a squeeze of lemon

Plus anyone who sees Inherent Vice at the Electric Cinema in Shoreditch will receive 50% off the limited edition pizza if they present their cinema ticket at Pizza East Shoreditch.

Inherent Vice is released in cinemas and the Inherent Vice – Golden Fang pizza will be available at all Pizza East restaurants until the end of February.
