Hulu Plus offers users access to thousands of great movies including new titles and old classics that you can stream on your phone or tablet. This app works best with a smartphone like the iPhone 6 that has a bigger screen size so you can enjoy the full experience or even watch with a friend on a plane, bus or car ride. DirecTV
The DirecTV app not only provides you with TV shows and movies but sports fans also can use the NFL Sunday Ticket app to keep up with all the games. This is great for all you Fantasy Football players because you will be up to date with all the scores and stats so you can win your league.
Movies by Flixster
The Movies by Flixster app lets you create a movie to-do list of films that are coming soon to the local theater. The free app features full-length trailers that will whet your appetite for upcoming releases. It also has information on when and where the movies will be playing and critic reviews from Rotten Tomatoes. Additionally, Flixster was updated to let people use AirPlay to stream movies from their iOS devices to an Apple TV.

The app is available for free for Netflix subscribers, and it allows people to watch films from just about anywhere. Of all of the movie-related apps out there, Plex beats the rest in terms of its interface and ability to help users organize their movies. As a bonus, you also can stream movies onto your iPhone from your home computer by using a Plex Media Server, which is available for free.
