Here are some really interesting facts and figures on the below infographic from Cineworld.  It beautifully illustrates how our cinemas have changed from the 1920s to the present day.  Some may say things were better in the good ol’ days, like the warmth and glow found projecting film or no food and drink allowed in the screenings, but I think are some advances we should be thankful for nowadays when it comes to our cinemas, like 3D and IMAX projections.
