By Gordon Foote.

Ok, this is bad.
Really, really, bad.

Caesar and Otto’s Deadly Xmas is the kind of film that makes the majority of Youtube videos look professional. The camera work is terrible, the acting is worse, and the script misfires on every conceivable level, making its 1h23mins runtime seem like an eternity.
I honestly can’t stress enough just how bad this film is…

Deadly Xmas is, apparently, the most recent in a series of films featuring, the eponymous, Caesar and Otto. I’m not sure this is an essential piece of information, but it is vital in helping me pad out this review to a more acceptable length. I did not feel like I was hindered in anyway by having not seeing the other entries in the series, and if I’m lucky, I will never find myself in a situation where I have to watch one of them. The plot, about a schizophrenic man in a Santa suit taking a dislike to the pair, is overly long and disinteresting, which makes the film a chore to watch. This is combined with humour which just isn’t funny, and suspense horror which is not handled with enough directorial quality required to make it suspenseful or horrifying!

To be honest, I really don’t have a lot more to say – this is an hour and a half that I’m never getting back and should be avoided by all with the same determination one would use to bypass charity muggers.

Bad, bad, bad, bad!
1/5 (because I can’t give it less)
