With hearts pounding and tiny beads of sweat forming on the foreheads of women — and men — all across the world, “Fifty Shades” fans are anxiously awaiting the portrayal of their favorite erotic couple on screen. The book that has sold millions of copies in paperback, audio and e-book versions has left Americans craving Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele — and nothing else.
But with the growing excitement and escalation of casting rumors, fans want to know who will play their beloved domineering Grey, his subordinate partner Steele and the many other supporting roles in the steamy story. With plenty of actors and actresses who could play the smoldering and innocent roles of the pair, who is at the top of your fantasy favorites?
Anastasia Steele
Possibly the hardest role to fill, Ana must be played by someone who is the right balance of striking and innocent, feeble and strong. Top picks include Emilia Clarke, Isabel Lucas, Jessica Stroup and Lily Collins. Though, our favorite is Alexis Bledel. Of course it will depend on who is chosen to play Christian’s character, in which Bella Heathcote, Michelle Trachtengberg or “Twilight” costar Ashley Green may be a better fit. Though originally written as “Twilight” fan fiction, Kristin Stewart fans have confirmed on Buzzsugar.com that they’d rather see a fresh face play Ana.

Who has the face of Christian Grey and which actor will play the smoldering role of the domineering business tycoon? “White Collar’s” Matt Boomer is a popular choice among fans, no doubt because of his beautiful eyes and general good looks. Also high on the list are Henry Cavill, Colin Egglesfield and Ryan Gosling.
Our top picks couldn’t be narrowed down: Chris Hemsworth’s sexy voice, thick hair and beefed up bod make our hearts sore at the thought of him playing a juicer role; Chris Evans has the intensity we long for; and Ian Somerhalder rocks a mischievous grin and has proven he can pull off being sexy and sweet — fans love his versatility in “Vampire Diaries.”
Katherine Kavanagh
An aspiring journalist and Ana’s college roommate and best friend, Kate, could be played by a number of Hollywood women. Model-gone-actress Brooklyn Decker could easily fit the bill, as a strawberry-blonde Sports Illustrated cover-girl that has enough filming experience to be successful yet isn’t overexposed.
There’s talk about Emma Roberts, Amanda Seyfried or “Revenge’s” Christa B. Allen filling the role, though fans seem to like bold and beautiful Blake Lively even better. Whoever gets the part will have to depend on who is cast as Anastasia, as the two will have to mesh enough to believably be each other’s BFF.
Mrs. Robinson
The fact that she doesn’t even make an entrance in the first book hasn’t stopped fans from suggesting actresses who are sultry enough to play the role of Christian’s older, intimidating lover, Mrs. Robinson, aka “Elena.” High on the list are Michelle Pfeiffer, Sharon Stone, Diana Lane and “Sex and the City’s” Kim Cattrall. Other top contenders: Ellen Barkin and Shannon Tweed.

Who should be ana? I personally say Ana should be someone who is not perfect, but as she described to be. The person should be chosen so she can play the role as Ana immediately. Ana must be someone who can cause mistakes. Her life should be mixed with the book. To get someone like Ana’s, is going to be difficult. I personally think the role of the person who should be Ana will take someone totally different than what already has been said and predicted. It should be Someone new and no one knows her, the followers and fans have to wonder who it is. All arise decisions whom Ana. Ana must be someone who is new to, but just as she is. She must be someone who doesn’t know the things in grey’s world, who never experience it before,who she discover the person who se wants to be with grey and can be. The role of Ana, it must not be just an act it must be real, she must be real, knowing its just like her life. Yes its hard to find the person perfect of ana, but she is some where . It can be someone already famous or someone complete opposite of famous. She should be someone who still doesn’t know the feeling of grey’s world. She must be someone innocent, someone who never experience this before until she met grey.
