BRWC Is 2: The Second Film I Ever Saw

BRWC Is 2: The Second Film I Ever Saw

Ah, the second film I ever saw was Masters Of The Universe, in the now defunct (but much missed) Concorde Cinema in Bristol.

Dolph Lundgren himself as He-Man.

I didn’t even think about this back in ’88, but He-Man and company in the present day sounds ridiculous.   Skeletor (Frank Langella!!!) freaked the heck out of me. as did the evil Evil “Evil” Lynn.

The special effects were decent for their time, flying vehicles, lasers, swords and explosions.

This film I would love to see again, I’m off to amazon…

So, what was the second film you ever saw?  Tell me?  Here?

You can usually get a copy of Masters of the Universe on DVD in Widescreen for like $7 at most stores. Haha. I love Langella and Meg Foster, the rest is enjoyable, but so-so.

As I posted on Facebook, my first theatrical viewing was a double feature of Batman and A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child. When I was 4.

The first movie I remember seeing before that was A Nightmare on Elm Street, when I was like 2. So hard to say….

But I’ll call it Elm Street 5.
