    Starred Up – A Violent Drama Centering On A Father-Son Relationship

    This March, a new drama called “Starred Up” is going to hit the UK theatres. The movie has an absolutely amazing cast, starring the “Skins” star, Jack O’Connell that is playing the main role. He is Eric, a troubled 19 year old guy who gets to be transferred from a juvenile institution to a big prison. There he gets to meet his father, Neville who is played by the Australian gorgeous actor Ben Mendelsohn. Also, we get to see talented actors like Rupert Friend, Sian Breckin and many others.

    The father son relationship starts in the prison, as Neville was absent in the life of Eric, while this one was growing up. The fact that Eric is only 19 years old and has such a criminal past made him very aggressive, which is typical for an imprisoned person. But even when developing a relationship with his dad, the public is going to wonder about what are his thoughts. Being constantly aggressive and violent, he is still a very complex character. As somehow you are expecting for him to be good and it seems like in his violence can be found a little kindness and a bunch of reasons.

    The “Starred Up” script does not give too many details on the past, on what happened before the action we see. But for puzzle lovers, there is a little glimpse of what the Eric’s life was like before he became the person we get to see now. Besides all the typical prison circumstances like the strong language and the violence, this movie somehow stays clean and really entertaining. It is like there is no dignity lost, even if it tells a crazy bad story.

    Brought to us by 20th Century Fox, the new movie “Starred Up” is going to conquer us with its violent brilliance of truth. This drama shows a world where people are not welcomed, where it is very hard to find some light and kindness. Centering on a father-son relationship, “Starred Up” pushes the limits of what a family really is, despite the context and the circumstances.

    The first clip from Curse of the Dragon Slayer, has been released.

    Keltus, a knight of the ruling Order is on the trail of the Shadow Cabal — a group of Orc cultists. When his leads run cold, he must team up with an elf bounty hunter, Nemyt, and an infamous orc raider, Kullimon, to infiltrate the Shadow and try to thwart their evil purpose — to unleash the God of the Undead.

    The clip is called The Fight.

    Curse of the Dragon Slayer hits DVD in May.

He is forced to join an underground band of freedom fighters after the genocide and abduction of innocent Bangladeshi’s and the love of his life. For the first time a British film has been produced, written and directed by a British Bangladeshi filmmaker looking at a forgotten era.

    Starring Hollywood actress Asia Argento (XXX and Marie Antoinette) and Anupam Kher (Silver Linings Playbook).

    The Producer, Writer and Director is British Bangladeshi Munsur Ali.  He is the CEO and founder of the Limelight Film Awards.
