I just thought I would share this amazing short film called Panic Attack that I came across on YouTube. Allegedly made for only $300, the director, Fede Alvarez, has already been offered a $30 million Hollywood contract.
The original video, along with comments and additional information can be found here.

Independent production company Movie Mogul is back with a fresh new website. You can learn more about what they’ve been up to, er, by clicking on more.
Actually, their first micro-budget feature film is gathering momentum and is now gearing up for pre-production on the social networking horror/thriller Panic Button.
What’s it about?!
“Four young people win a trip of a lifetime to New York, courtesy of their favourite social-networking website – All2gethr.com. As they board the private jet, they are asked to relinquish their mobile phones and take part in the in-flight entertainment – a new online gaming experience.
But this is no ordinary game. Trapped at 30,000 feet, they are forced to play for their lives and the lives of their loved ones by their invisible captor, who seems to all know their
most intimate secrets.
With no escape and no one to trust, they are about to learn that putting your life on-line can have deadly offline consequences…”

Those are just two of the categories at MSN’s Alternative Oscars, which is here.
The normal Oscars highlighted Avatar, The Hurt Locker and Up In The Air as the main hitters, although there were some surprises too – with District 9 and The Blind Side making the Best Picture list.
Any categories MSN have missed out?
