Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness: Trailer Talk

With the release of ‘Spiderman: No Way Home’, Marvel have fully embraced the next phase of films, which will revolve around the multiverse. And, after ‘Wandavision’, it makes sense that the next film to be released is Doctor Strange.

‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ is the sequel to the 2016 film starring Benedict Cumberbatch and will see him reunite with Wanda to try and fix the multiverse.

While I didn’t enjoy ‘Doctor Strange’, Cumberbatch was the perfect casting for the lead role and it was visually incredible, resembling that of ‘Inception’. However, after watching ‘Wandavision’, ‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ and even the animated show ‘What If?’, I am very interested in what the sequel has to offer, especially since it will revolve around the multiverse. Narratively, I hope this film also serves as a continuation to Wanda’s story after the end of ‘Wandavision’.

One thing is for sure: their reunion will definitely be interesting, considering their powers and past!

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is intended to be the sequel to Doctor Strange (2016) and the 28th film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film is directed by Sam Raimi from a script written by Jade Halley Bartlett and Michael Waldron, and stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange, alongside Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Elizabeth Olsen, and Xochitl Gomez. In the film, Strange unleashes an unspeakable evil as he faces a friend-turned-enemy.

Megan’s taste in films are interesting: her favourite films are ‘Space Jam’, Studio Ghibli’s ‘The Cat Returns’, as well as horror films ‘Saw’, ‘Drag Me To Hell’ and ‘Ju-On: The Grudge’. When she’s not watching films, she’ll be spending precious hours playing ‘Crash Bandicoot’.
