Starring Steven Berkoff (Octopussy, The Tourist) The Last Faust transports Goethe’s epic saga of damnation to the year 2059. Faust’s successor, Dr. Goodfellow (Steven Berkoff) is the CEO of Winestone, the world’s largest and most secretive tech firm. His predecessor Dr. Faust (Martin Hancock) sold his soul, traded for the creation of the first Superhuman, to the devil Mephisto (Glyn Dilley), in the manifestation of a Hedge Fund manager. However in the process, he unleashes a much darker force on to the world.

Heidi and Jane are best friends living in a small town in the desert. When Jane, a Rodeo Queen contestant and military wife goes missing, Heidi, now alone in the world, must begin a search across the desert for her friend. She digs up secrets and encounters the violence of life on the road, crossing paths with a series of unusual men and women in her search for an honest connection in a dishonest world.

Written by Peter Morgan, The Crown also stars Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret, Tobias Menzies as The Duke of Edinburgh, Josh O’Connor as Prince Charles, Erin Doherty as Princess Anne, Ben Daniels as Lord Snowdon, Jason Watkins as Prime Minister Harold Wilson and Charles Dance as Lord Mountbatten.

Despite her wackiness, she ultimately makes it back to the top of the heap. This parody of America’s infatuation with fame raises the question: are these celebs-for-no-reason marketing geniuses, or are they just the accidental beneficiaries of the American public’s stupidity?
