#BRWC10: Ten Less Talked About Films

1. Independence Day

7. 50/50

Joseph Gordon-Levitt has starred in some great Rom coms including one of my other favourites 500 Days of Summer.

50/50 is less Rom-Com than it is Brom-Com (Bromance) but it is also a relatable and lovable film about dealing with illness, dealing with heartbreak and the subtleties of friendship. Every time I watch this film I love it more.

6. Creed

Probably more talked about than other films on this list, but I love boxing films and Creed, the follow up to all the Rocky’s is a good one.

5. Southpaw

Another boxing film to appear on my list, I honestly think this is one of Jake Gylenhaal’s best performances with some very hard-hitting scenes. It may not be the best, or even my favourite boxing film, but I do believe it’s heavily underrated and should be watch by fans of sport based films and all the Gylenhaal heads out there too.

Films, games, Godzilla and Scott Pilgrim; these are the things that Alex loves. As he tries to make use of the fact he’s always staring at a screen or in a book, you’ll hopefully be treated to some good reviews along the way (though he doesn’t promise anything).
