Yes, Damien Chazelle will be taking home the prize for Best Director according to everyone, and he would be the youngest winner ever of the award at 32.  But for me, the outside shot would be Kenneth Lonergan for his subtle work on Manchester By The Sea, it’s a poignant, quiet drama full of lovely moments.
