Power Rangers (March 23^rd)

Saban Entertainment and Lionsgate have teamed up to bring us a new Power Rangers film. Although the power rangers have appeared in cinemas before; especially in the mid to late 90’s, this is set to be the most exciting venture yet for the franchise. Judging by the trailer; Power Rangers is said to be an action filled blockbuster. But with stiff competition like Wonder Woman and Spider Man, which also have films releasing this year, it may be difficult for the film to create an impact.

The film is directed by Dean Israelite, who has directed mostly short films. The Power Rangers film will be his second major motion picture. The plot will re-tell the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers Story in modern day. So that will be exciting to see!
