The Hunger Games (2012)

From the best- selling dystopian fantasy:  The Hunger Games written by Suzanne Collins. The story was brought to life by Director: Gary Ross. The main protagonist is Katniss Everdeen, a resourceful teenager from an impoverished coal- mining region in the country of ‘Panem’. Lawrence’s participation contributed to the film developing into a smash hit franchise. Her ability to embody Katniss’ undeniable heroism and supernatural capabilities captured the many franchise fans as well as wider audiences. This role secured Jennifer’s spot in terms of Hollywood’s ‘A List’ actresses, as the critically acclaimed film quickly became Jennifer’s most known. The first instalment was released in 2012,which then lead to the development of three more movies; with the last being Mocking Jay Part II (2015), where the story concluded.
