Bits & Pieces: The Nigel Clough Edition

We get sent a lot of film treats here at BRWC, so here’s a place we can share them with you.  They’ll be clips, trailers, images and posters, links and all sorts.  Enjoy.

Park Circus has today announced that it will release the critically acclaimed American gothic horror THE EYES OF MY MOTHER, directed by Nicolas Pesce, in UK cinemas on 24 March 2017.

MY COUSIN RACHEL, a new film adaptation of Daphne du Maurier’s acclaimed novel has a trailer. Directed by Roger Michell and starring Rachel Weisz as Rachel and Sam Claflin as Philip, MY COUSIN RACHEL will be released in cinemas on 9 June 2017.

Based on the best-selling books by Jay Asher, executive produced by Selena Gomez, and with episodes directed by Academy Award winner Tom McCarthy (Spotlight), all 13 episodes of 13 Reasons Why launch globally on Netflix on Friday 31 March 2017.

Writer/director Olivier Assayas (Clouds Of Sils Maria) returns with PERSONAL SHOPPER, an ethereal and mysterious ghost story. Kristen Stewart stars as Maureen, a young American living in Paris and working as a high-fashion personal shopper to the stars. She is also a spiritual medium, and grieving the recent death of her twin brother, she haunts his Parisian home, determined to make contact with him.

To celebrate the highly anticipated release of Hidden Figures, Oscar Nominated for ‘Best Adapted Screenplay’, ‘Best Supporting Actress’ and ‘Best Picture’, Twentieth Century Fox is delighted to make available two new video assets.

In the clip entitled “Make You First” we see Mary Jackson (Janelle Monae) making a stand against the segregation in the state of Virginia.

And also the ‘Monica Grady‘ featurette, where Monica Grady, professor of Planetary and Space Sciences at the Open University, shares her own story of science and how Katherine Johnson has inspired and impacted her life.

IRON MEN arrives on Digital HD on March 3rd and on DVD from March 6th, 2017, courtesy of Signature Entertainment.

The film records the relocation from the Boleyn Ground to the London Stadium through the voices of fans, owners, club captain and local boy Mark Noble, manager Slaven Bilic and Ray Winstone, arrives on demand from March 3rd and on DVD from March 6th.  I don’t think Nigel Clough played for West Ham.

That’s your lot for now, more soon enough.
