Here’s the first image from Cobain: Montage of Heck, the hotly anticipated new documentary about legendary Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. It’s the first fully authorized documentary on the subject, exec produced by his daughter Frances Bean, and directed by Brett Morgen.
FIRST LOOK of Brett Morgen’s highly anticipated documentary, COBAIN: MONTAGE OF HECK. As previously announced, this first ever, fully-authorized doc feature blends Cobain’s personal archive of art, music, written word, and never-before-seen home movies, with animation and revelatory interviews from his family and closest confidantes. Produced by Universal Pictures International Entertainment Content Group and HBO Documentary Films, the film will be released internationally in theatres from Spring and will air exclusively on HBO in the US on May 4th.
COBAIN: MONTAGE OF HECK will debut internationally at The Berlin International Film Festival in February. It will be released in the UK in April.
