Following on from successful screenings at the London Independent Film Festival and the National Media Museum in Bradford (where the film was compared to, among other things, John Waters, John Carpenter, Mean Girls and The Warriors), the film will be available to the public via all good VOD platforms as of September 30th 2014, with selected cinema screenings at locations around the country in the run up to the launch.
An official soundtrack album, a specially created mix featuring Shape Worship’s original electronica score as well as tracks featured in the film, will be released for download September 15th, and will also be included as part of a deluxe download bundle with the film. Every teen movie needs a killer soundtrack, and artists with music featured in the film include Moon Gangs, Still Corners, The Pipettes, Shape Worship, Teen Witch Fan Club, Zyna Hel and more.
The deluxe VOD package will also include an e-zine of behinds the scenes photographs by DoP Emily-Jane Robinson (Vice, Vogue Italia) and artwork by Tom Moore, a 30 minute making of documentary and blooper reel showing the young cast’s lighter side, phone & laptop wallpapers and a host of other special features.
