Following on from its success at the Ariel Awards (the Mexican equivalent of the Academy Awards) last week, the UK trailer for Cannes winning thriller The Golden Dream has now launched.
Achieving a well deserved haul of awards including Best Picture, First Work and Screenplay, to add to its Un Certain Regard ensemble prize from Cannes 2013, The Golden Dream is the debut feature from Diego Quemada Diez, long time collaborator of Ken Loach. The film follows three Guatemalan teens as they make the perilous journey across Central America to the American border to try and start a new life in the US.
