Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson have been leaving American audiences open-mouthed and baited-breathed in the new crime-drama series True Detective. The series has just arrived in the UK on Sky Atlantic, but don’t worry if you’re not a Sky subscriber; you can watch it contract free with NOW TV’s Entertainment Pass (£4.99 a month).

The deep, dark new series has been receiving astounding reviews across the board, looking like a welcome replacement to all HBO addicts looking for a show to fill the Breaking Bad sized hole. Currently sitting in the top five of IMDB’s TV series, it’s up there with the greats too.
