Dark and touching, DONE IN is the story of a man writing a goodbye to the world in the form of a suicide note while he calls upon the memories of life in a beautiful country manor. The poignant short drama stars Guy Henry (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, HBO’s Rome, V for Vendetta), best known for his critically-acclaimed turn as Henrik Hanssen in the BBC’s long-running, BAFTA-winning series Holby City.
The film marks the debut of 23-year-old writer/director Adam Stephen Kelly, a prolific critic known most recognisably as Britgeek, formerly of the renowned Ain’t It Cool News.
DONE IN was produced by BAFTA’s SJ Evans (DEAD OF THE NITE, TATTOOS: A SCARRED HISTORY) and features an original score by Imran Ahmad (THE DEAD, THE DEAD 2: INDIA).
“DONE IN is a brilliantly dark spin on the drama film from a bold new voice in indie film-making, Adam Stephen Kelly” – Jonathan Sothcott (producer, VENDETTA, TOP DOG).
“A superbly written script. Adam Stephen Kelly shows his calibre as a writer with DONE IN. He manages to evoke a wide variety of emotions” – Andrew Jones (producer/writer/director, THE AMITYVILLE ASYLUM).
