Despite being made for just £16,000, The Sky In Bloom was chosen as a London Film Focus 2012 breakthrough film and screened at the BFI alongside the Oscar winning Searching For Sugarman and the Bafta winning The Imposter. It has also won a number of festival awards. Most recently it was awarded best feature at Newport International 2012 and screened in competition at Baja 2012 against the 2013 Oscar nominated feature ‘No’.
