Cellar Rentals, The V/H/S Store In Action!

To celebrate the release of the celebrated portmanteau horror V/H/S on DVD, Blu-ray and download on 28th January, without a doubt “The scariest, rawest horror movie of the year” (Rolling Stone), the capital saw a one-night-only vintage video shop pop up last week packed with vintage tapes from a lost era.

Yes, ‘Cellar Rentals’ opened it’s doors last Wednesday courtesy of Momentum Pictures to transport a reminiscing crowd back to the heady days of searching through racks upon racks of VHS tapes in order to find that perfect Saturday night scare! Not only that, but those who attended were also treated to a preview screening of V/H/S and then went home with the film on actual VHS tape too!

Did you attend this ‘Back To The Video Store’ event? No?  If you didn’t, find out what went down at this unique, one-off event below.

With the sad demise of Blockbuster and subsequently the video store in general, there’s no better time to enjoy and celebrate the glory of ‘Cellar Rentals’.

Viva VHS!
