IrisTV

If you missed the 2011 Iris Prize Festival don’t worry as IrisTV has plenty of interviews and clips to keep you up to date with what went on in Cardiff during 4 packed days of screenings, sessions and parties!

“It’s been very much a coming of age for Iris this year and this is reflected in the delightfully diverse coverage on IrisTV – from journalist Andrew Pierce’s joyous interview with Iris Prize winning filmmaker Magnus Mork to Super 8 – a look at the work of eight international short film makers who attended this year’s festival,” said Andrew Gurney, producer of IrisTV.

“Being on the Iris jury this year as well as producing IrisTV provided a fascinating insight into the thoughts and aspirations of filmmaking jury members. The standard of entries was the best yet and the winning Brazilian film is a shining example of a delightful, well made short.

Praise too to the brilliant volunteer reporters, courtesy of our sponsors Stonewall Cymru, whose enthusiasm, energy and talent helped make IrisTV produce its most comprehensive coverage yet,” he added.

Andrew White, Director of Stonewall Cymru said “This was a fantastic chance for young LGB people to develop skills, build contacts and gain confidence.  These opportunities bring communities together and can help young people advance in their chosen career.”
