Quote of the Week : Rosemary’s Baby (1968)

“Come with us quietly, Rosemary. Don’t argue or make a scene. Because if you say anything more about witches or witchcraft, we’re going to be forced to take you to a mental hospital. You don’t want that, do you ?”

Dr Sapirstein (Ralph Bellamy) gives an ultimatum to Rosemary (Mia Farrow) after her horrifying discovery of the truth.

Classic chiller by Ira Levin is meticulously crafted to the screen by writer-director Roman Polanski. Farrow is an unsuspecting young wife whose husband becomes involved with Satanists and their diabolical plans. If there is such a thing as perfection in the film making process, this is it.
