Foreword : BBFF 2010

I will be attending The Byron Bay International Film Festival this evening for two sessions of short films, which will be showing 7 Australian movies and 6 from overseas including film makers from Japan, Switzerland and France unveiling their work. The Oscar nominated Miracle Fish is amongst the screenings too, which I had the pleasure of covering for In The Bin Short Film Festival last year.

The BBFF runs for a total of 9 days with an extravaganza of shorts, features, red carpet events, Q & A sessions and numerous Australian premieres.

Thanks to Alton from BRWC and J’aimee from the festival in their organization of my passes for sessions 5 & 6 this evening – really looking forward to it !

I will follow up with a full written piece in a few days.
