I’ve found a site and a web application that lets you track and organise your movie collection online. You can add movies, organise them by tags, mark when you last watched them so you can see what movies you watch most often and which movie you haven’t watched in a long time, you can mark items that you have lent to people, and share your collections with other users. I’m hoping my mate Dave reads this as this would be perfect for him. It’s FREE and all you need to get started is a Google account.

I just use Excel. That allows me to sort by ANYTHING.
On the shelves, I sort by Director and then in chronological order.
